Hello. I'm Ben.
I am a resident in general surgery at the University of Chicago. I went to medical school at the Pritzker School of Medicine and earned a PhD in cancer biology through the Committee on Cancer Biology at the University of Chicago. I attended college at the University of Illinois; while there, I sang with the jazz a cappella group No Strings Attached.
In 2007, I started the Pritzker Podcast, an online audio resource for premedical applicants.
My professional interests include surgical oncology, cancer research, and medical and surgical education. Technology, social media, photography, and woodworking also interest me greatly.
I have a daughter named Lucy. She is amazing.
