Hello. I'm Ben.

I am a resident in general surgery at the University of Chicago. I went to medical school at the Pritzker School of Medicine and earned a PhD in cancer biology through the Committee on Cancer Biology at the University of Chicago. I attended college at the University of Illinois; while there, I sang with the jazz a cappella group No Strings Attached.

In 2007, I started the Pritzker Podcast, an online audio resource for premedical applicants. It has been rather effective.

My professional interests include surgical oncology, cancer research, and medical and surgical education. Technology, social media, photography, Apple, Austin Mini Coopers, and woodworking also interest me greatly.

I have a wife named Abbie and a daughter named Lucy. They are amazing.
