Hello. I'm Ben.
I am a resident in general surgery at the University of Chicago. I attended medical school at the Pritzker School of Medicine and earned a PhD in cancer biology through the Committee on Cancer Biology at the University of Chicago. I attended college at the University of Illinois; while there, I sang with the jazz a cappella group No Strings Attached.
In 2007, I started the Pritzker Podcast, an online audio resource for premedical applicants.
My medical interests include surgical oncology, pediatric surgery, and thoracic surgery. Medical and surgical education, technology, and photography also interest me greatly.
I have a daughter named Lucy. She is amazing.
